I am in love with color for as long as I can remember. In retrospect I was aware of the adroit alchemy in art, which was undeniably present in all walks of life. I had no prior education in art but was inclined towards drawing and experimenting with colors in different mediums. I would paint on small canvases and give them as gifts to friends and relatives.

After a long break, I see myself going back to pursue my interests. I’m still at the doorstep and a lot to learn and acquire in art.

A reflection of India is very hard to portray, but a glimpse of the bright vibrant colors, textures, cultures, traditions and history I hope, can bring across the underlying apprehensions to a unique yet beautiful, positive platform.

My endeavors in the future would be to bring across a micro perspective view of the mystical world between art and reality that is manifold.

I have a passion for illustrating. Graphics, Picture book illustrations and book covers are also part of what I see myself doing.

My inspirations come from various artists and different styles in art. The expressive brush strokes of Van Gogh, the brilliant and decorative works of Matisse, Cezanne’s palpable use of color, the simplicity and yet defining projects in Kandinsky’s canvasses and many more.
